Excellent book with both the English and French versions of this poetry.Heart touching and rending poetry from the heart of one of mankind's most beautiful souls.Such a treasure was this woman and so betrayed, slandered and misunderstoodA true martyr of the Catholic Church and inspiration to all Catholics.The only TRUE heir to the throne and not an English bastard !
This is a lovely little book. It is full of Queen Marie's sonnets and portraits of her and her times. It's also very attractive with the font and paper it's printed on. I am very pleased with it.
I will be buying a few more to give as gifts - Art work is fantastic!Loved every page and will read it again and keep it on my coffee table!
All of these poems were beautifully written and they reflect how women still feel today when they lose someone close to them.
