Being a special educator, I bought the book to teach my students the Singapore Math Method. Data shows that Singapore is a leader in math education and testing. I highly recommend for every teacher. I also recommend the student text book, the workbook and the assessment book. Outstanding pictorial method of teaching math to visual learners. My children use this in school and they were doing fine in math until this program was introduced. Now both my 5th and 3rd grader are struggling. My 3rd grader usa having such a hard time she gets physically ill before every test. It teaches concepts and then doesn't review them so kids have a full knowledge. Saxon math is a much better math approach as it teaches repetition and a clearer learning for kids.
