I wish this book had been available before the first time I was deposed. I've received some of the advice presented here but never all of it and never in such a straight forward and easy to read manner. Even if you've been deposed before read this and discuss it with your attorney. I am a business person who is deposed as much as once or twice each year and will read this book again before the next.
It is basic depo strategy that I use for my clients. I give them the book when deposition is set and have them read it before we do our deposition review. It seems to work, Straightforward and easy to understand.

Absolutely excellent preparation no matter why you are being called to a deposition. Repeats enough to improve learning. Extremely easy read. Provides calming at a time you do NOT feel calm!
This book gave an insight look into what to expect in and during ad position. The author did a great job at the end giving examples of the myths held by many lay people. Good buy!
