Norton Anthologies are the best. I love the text they include in each anthology and I also learn a lot from the introductions. I would recommend this over any other anthology. I have kept the majority of my Norton anthologies from college because I love them so much.
This textbook has so much richness and history that I found easy to peruse. I quoted from it often because it has so many classics. If one loves English literature and/or history, this is a must. One does not have to be an English major to read this because the footnotes hold the hand of the reader the whole way.
This book is just amazing. listed it as used, but there were barely any marks in it. The price was great also. Elsewhere, I had seen this anthology being sold for like $60.00, but 's price was way better! $7.00 or so. The readings inside are engaging to read. I am very satisfied with my purchase, with , and The Norton Company for putting together these great books.
This was also another required college literature purchase. It was also in brand new condition and at a very reasonable price. The book arrived before it's estimated arrival date and has been used almost weekly by my son. I would definitely buy from this seller again. Smooth transaction.
The Entire Norton collection is a must-own for anyone, especially though interested in reading the classics. It includes every piece of "important" literature ever written, with very detailed, well-written commentaries and footnotes to help you understand the historical setting of the piece. I bought them for class last year and have never regretted it. I am thinking of getting the American set next.
