Nothing unique or different about this book. I was looking for something on leadership related to sports but this book is just story after story from Pep's days in Munich, and nothing really interesting
Excelente libro, me ha gustado de principio a fin. A cualquiera que le guste el fútbol, le encatará leer sobre como vive Pep el fútbol, como organiza sus rutinas de trabajo, como entrena a sus equipos, los esquemas que usa, la flexibilidad, los cambios. Algo muy importante es su autocrítica, me sorprendió. Después de leer el libro, miro los partidos del Bayern de 2013/2014 y todo me cierra y eso me ha encantado.
El contenido es profundo y la lectura deliciosa. Además del tema de la estrategia del fútbol, su lectura facilita la reflexión sobre el manejo de grupos, el liderazgo de la innovación y la transferencia de conocimiento. Lo recomiendo con entusiasmo.
The book is a gift for people who enjoy football, shows the methods of work of Pep and his tenacity to find perfection. It is hard to imagine a person breathing, eating, and dreaming football like Pep Guardiola does
Extraordinario!! Apasionante la manera en que Pep trabaja, una lección de cómo la pasión y el trabajo dan resultados sobresalientes. La descripción que hace Martín Perarnau desde las entrañas del Bayern permite entender muchas cosas que desde fuera no se perciben, y que vuelve entrañable a más de un personaje. No soy aficionado al Bayern Munich, pero después de este libro me declaro seguidor en particular de este Bayern de Pep Guardiola.
The book can be read easy and fast. It is written with simple words and can be read from everyone who has or hasn't acknowledgement about football.I'm a fan of Pep Guardiola that's the reason I bought the book. I love the work he did and won when he was the Barcelona FC's manager and I was curious about what he could do in Munich.
Inmemso trabajo de Perarnau, que nos cuenta la primera temporada de Pep en Bayern dentro desde la mismisima cocina. Libro muy futbolero, con detalles sobre jugadores, tacticas, estrategias y otros pormenores.
I found the intricacies of the attempt in transforming Bayern style interesting. However the book is more an adulation of Guardiola than an objective assessment of his importance as a coach.It remains to be seen whether his success will be viewed as winning games or more as how those games were won. Indeed, tiqui-taca is and always will be his style, and although one is led to believe he wants to use as complement to a more dynamic physical germanic football style only time will tell.
