A very silly, very enjoyable opera. I'm a tenor and had to perform "Ah! mes amis...Pour mon ame" and couldn't find my score, so thanks for having everything under the sun for a reasonable price and lightning fast shipping. The Schirmer is the score most people in the U.S. are using, the English translations (Ruth & Thomas Martin, as always) are okay, although it is always better in the original French. No complaints.
I had to buy this score because the director of the Opera company chose it. It has all the normal Shirmer problems....typos, typos, typos. Otherwise not bad.
bad translations and difficult to follow vocal lines with French and English not always continual throughout the scors.But that is the one we use.
It's pretty inexpensive for a vocal score. This does show in the quality of the printing - it's not razor-sharp, there are typos. But it's certainly usable!
