Excellent book. I read Mr. Leo Barron's two other books (they can be found in ) and this one is just as great as the previous books. The information is easy to follow and I can imagine the battle and events unfolding in my mind as I read. The book is straight to the point so my time is not wasted. My father fought in the Korean War and my mother and her family took refuge from Pyong-Yang during the war so I have a personal appreciation for the book as there are so few books written about the Korean War. I would recommend this to all Koreans that want to learn about our history that helped shaped South Korea to what it is today. This is a wonderful book and it took three days to finish reading because I had a difficult time putting it down. Great purchase.
A great and in-depth-study about an unknown battle in an unknown war. I like the modern approach to the subject and the way Barron is able to explain the very complicated fighting in a very detailed, yet clear way.It was like the Chinese were kreeping up next to my seat. I read the last 150 pages in one go.
