As spanish books go this is a good one, however, my 2 year old and my 6 year old were a little frustrated by the fact that some of the pictures do not reflect the text on a couple of the pages. We read it once and it went into the pile. No requests to read it again.
I LOVED reading this book to my elementary Spanish students. They loved it as well. The illustrations are beautiful and the description of the "barrio" is culturally accurate.
