I absolutely love Lang Leav but Im disappointed that I practically bought the first two books all over again. And there were only a few new pieces. I wouldn't reccomend this for those of you that have the first two. But this is a good book to buy if you want a summary of the first two. So it is kinda two for one.
I bought her first two books, and I loved them.While buying this book, I was hoping for growth and excitement. As I was reading through the pages, it was beginning to feel extremely repetitive. A bunch of poems from her first two books are mixed in with apparently "new" poems. I was hoping for new poems, but this book is just mainly writings from her previous books.I don't recommend this book unless it's your first time reading Lang Leav's books. If so, go for it. If not, just stick with the first two books. You're not missing out on much.
Lang Leav is one of the most amazing authors/poets of today. Her words are seamless, enchanting and brilliant. I own all of her books and consider that fact an honor. You must purchase this, you will never go wrong with this poet!
This is such a great book to read next to a bottle of wine on a Sunday afternoon. The poems already lovely although I did see some repeated poems. That didn't bug meMuch though, the feel of the book is wonderful. My respects for Leav💕
This book is wonderful.Seriously, you'll find combinations of vocabulary that you never thought would perfectly match a scene.It's a splendid read. When you're done, give it to your crush... ::wink::
These short poems are eloquently written, yet simple. Love, loss, and memories of the past. Some resonate with you, some don't. However, all will move you. Definitely worth the read.
eh too sappy for me she has some good stuff but a lot of it was focused on how "emptiness" is created by a lack of said boy in life or s/t. as much as I'm for sad poetry I wish I bet of these negative emotions were focused around other things besides love
Her feelings and the words she uses to describe them are so universal. It's healing and just fascinating to devour each page of her writing. She's a treasure and so is her book.
