The Columbo Case Files: Season One (Volume 1)

It's not "just one more thing" ... it's the first in a series of new books on "Columbo" starring Peter Falk — perhaps the best known, and certainly one of the best, police procedurals TV has produced. This first book includes all nine episodes of Season One, with comment, analysis, praise, critique, and the great quotations, plus short reflections on Lt. Columbo, and on his place in our culture. All for your further enjoyment of this excellent show. A Kindle version is also available. Please note: This is a slim book — just 80 pages. I priced it as close as I could to what CreateSpace is requiring for a minimum. Future print editions will include multiple Seasons, for the most substantial offering possible. Thank you.

I enjoyed this series and have always felt that there hasn't been another tv detective in this same category. I got the book because of that. This tells about the series, behind the scenes information, as well as about the episodes.

Nice, scholarly look at Columbo. Hughes does a great job of putting the series in context with the times and with modern day. Details of the Columbo genesis are handled nicely. I'm looking forward to season 2 and 3. I'll probably end up buying the whole series.

Since I watched these episodes the first time around, I knew that there was something special about both the lieutenant and Mr. Falk. Paul Hughes does a great job of showing just how special.

I love it and highly recommend it.However I guess it's just a little incomplete.Couple of older shows I wanted his review oon but I can't find it.Guess he hasn't done it yetTony when you get up to these please let me know so I can buy your next volume inclusive of theseOne i am interested in is murder of a rock Star
