Outstanding detail, a must have for the Walking Dead fan. Elaborate graphic pop ups tell the story from beginning all the way to Terminus. Great artwork with fantastically designed pull tabs. Not sutible for young children.
Great coffee table book/horror kitsch for grown-ups. I've had it for over 6 months now and everyone that comes over loves to grab it and play with it. Even with all the handling (and a few spills), it's held up well--this isn't made with cheap material, but some care does need to be taken when folding some of the pop-ups back into their pockets like another reviewer noted. While the price seems high for such a short book, the images are large, detailed and gory with plenty of pop-ups within pop-ups. Its a fun gift for horror or walking dead fans.
I ordered two. One was nicely wrapped in cellophane, the other not and had like razor cuts across the front of the book. They are gifts and I was very disappointed as the open one looked used, pages had been stuck together or something, looks kinda used.
My daughter and I are huge walking dead fans. I got this for her for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. This is a an amazing pop up book. The details on it are awesome and it actually has a lot of pop ups. This is a must have for a walking dead fan plus you can't beat price. Get this book it's a great collection for a walker fan.
As avid fans of TWD, I bought this book for my husband's birthday. The entire family loves it; there is so much going on on each page. It's definitely unique and a cool addition to any Walking Dead collection. At first I thought the $40 price tag was a bit high, but after seeing the detail, the money is totally worth it.
My dad is a HUGE "The Walking Dead" fan - I am always thankful when the graphic novel collected volumes are released around major holidays because they are now my "go to" gifts for him. I read about this book on an entertainment site and thought he would LOVE it for Christmas. He did. I have honestly never seen such detail and effort put into a pop up book before in my life. It must have taken the authors so much time to put all of the fun pull outs and actions together. It is definitely not a pop up book for kids though. It has some very graphic/bloody scenes in it.
Great collectors item. The intricacies and details of the pop-up pages really speak to the same incredible effort that goes into the development of this series. This is is only a few pages so you are not getting a graphic novel worth of material here, but as a collector's item, it is a fun piece to show your friends.
This was gift for my father, he loves the walking dead and loved this book. The detail in this book is amazing, the pop ups are great and it has tons of fun facts throughout the book. Not to mention the great price compared to Barnes and noble!
