Purchased this book for my Applied Voice course. We used the music for the Cinderella songs and "Bali Hai" from South Pacific. There are 2 CDs that come with the book- one with someone singing, and one karaoke. The vocalists on the CD are pretty good, but depends on the type of style you prefer I guess. The music is laid out pretty clearly but if you are hoping for detailed info on which to crescendo or descrescendo, you are not going to get it from this printing. Overall I like the book, it is clear and laid out in a logical manner. Most of the songs seem to work with my voice so I think they are appropriate for Mezzo-Sopranos.
