In recent months Dover has been restoring some of their fine collections of piano music that have lamentably been allowed to go out of print, and this is one of the most deserving of such treatment in my opinion. I originally purchased it some years ago just to have the sheet music for Janacek's sublimely evocative "Overgrown Path" but in the intervening years have become much more interested in the piano music of Smetana, Dvorak and Dussek. As a result, I have come to value this excellent volume more and more.
