Mr. Jackson hits the nail on the head!! There are so many different mediums out there that try to help attorneys learn how to do a good voir dire, and many are pretty decent. This book is short sweet and is very helpful. I plan to use some of the sample questions in my jury selection. The only thing I somewhat disagree with is "bull dogging" the jurors at the beginning. I have an aggressive criminal defense style, but it is best to hold back sometimes. I think in the beginning you have to be assertive but not too aggresive. There is only one occasion to make a first impression. Jurors decide if they like you as soon as they hear your first statement as well as how presentable you have made yourself. At the end of the day a neat appearance, articulate presentation, firm posturing, and respectful style will go a long way.Well worth buying. Sidebar: it is also available to print out in its full form on the internet. It of course will not look as neat, but content is the same. Good Luck!
