Renting this book for school. Very interesting to read. I am really liking it so far. I am only a couple of chapters in but it is fun to learn how things were back then.
I do not like this textbook. It is far too concise and doesn't really circle around any main ideas, jumping and skipping really important themes and topics. Comparing it to my other western civilization textbook, this book is, if anything, sub par. I hated it the whole time I had to use it, supplementing its lack of quality with even Wikipedia and other online sources.
