Updated: 6/24/15I have to reduce my experience from a 2 to a 1. With light use, I've had to use a hot glue gun several times to keep the pages in tact. I deeply regret not returning this as soon as I received it. Took some pictures with my camera. Will add soon to this review.Original review: I love Schirmer scores. They are easy and clear to read and affordable. Unfortunately, the Faust score I received had pages already separating from the binder. After I first opened it, I saw the problem. I regret not returning this for another score. I have had to use my glue gun 3 - 4 times already just to make sure the pages don't separate further.
In French and English translation, this is the ubiquitous piano reduction for this opera. Also includes a reduction of the ballet as an appendix. Easy to read and play from, but as is typical with Schirmer may not be the most faithful or best reduction possible.
If you ever shopped Patelson's NYC - you'd know exactly what this score looks like, the quality of paper and clarity of sight - it's great.
