this is a fascinating read from this period in brittish and scottish history. this is a period where there are very few reliable written sources andlittle in the way of evidence. there is a decent overview of arms and armour of the day. this is back when men fought with honour toe to toe with the adversary. many battles were fought with norsemen. must have fascinating with the provided sources mainly the saxon chronicles. enjoyed many knights by this modern viking pagan man. better tha movies
