This is an excellent collection of arias we use in church. The only drawback is I wish the CD had words instead of just music, especially necessary when trying to learn an aria where the sung part is different than the accompaniment
Excellent book that I'd recommend to any voice student, teacher, or church musician. The accompaniments are great, and the CD is helpful! Perfect for weddings, services, and events. It's pretty basic, but it has all the classics. This book offers solist a variety of favorite sacred songs. I found four of my always favorite songs and a couple more to increase my repertoir and challenge myself to more difficult pieces. The book includes a CD with the music for each song. This helps the singer to learn the songs rapidly. Also the quality of the CD piano recording is super! It could be used in a performance when lacking a pianist.
