After purchasing Verdi's "Falstaff" as an MP3 download, I realized the drawback of making the purchase digitally is that there is no libretto included in the package. "Falstaff" depends more than most operas on the wit of the words being sung. Buying the printed libretto separately has allowed me to get to know this important opera.

If you want to read the libretto before seeing the opera, this is the best way to go! The opera is quite different from the original Shakespeare, so both are helpful in understanding the plot twists. Also fun to compare the Italian with the English!

Wonderful, I don't speak or read Italian, but it is fairly easy to follow the score as it has the Italian on the left and English on the right.I have the Toscanini with the NBC Symphony version and it is wonderful!!
