That was the case with Taken By Tuesday by author Catherine Bybee.This is the fifth book in the author’s The Weekday Brides series and I consider it part contemporary romance, part romantic suspense (lite), and part chick-lit. I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series (how did I miss this series!) and the book worked okay for a stand-alone. The series is sequential, and have the same cast of supporting characters throughout. Previous story lines were referenced heavily throughout the book. For that reason, reading this series in order may make the most sense. If you want to start with book one, read Wife by Wednesday first. After reading Taken by Tuesday and realizing I liked it, I wish I would have started with book one and read the series in order.The story was told from the dual points of view of the main characters, Judy and Rick. Rick is a security guard for Judy’s brother, who is a famous actor. After graduating college Judy moves into her brother’s house while he is working overseas on a movie. Unfortunately, she becomes the victim of a dangerous stalker and Rick must step in and keep her safe.
