Dover piano scores are hit or miss. The many reprinted Breitkopf editions are just that... scans of old 19th century prints. But these new engravings or really quite something. This two volume set of Schumann solo piano works is probably all you'll ever need (beats out the much more expensive C.F. Peters, which in my opinion would come second after this). It's urtext, the print is spectacular, the editing serves only to illuminate the original, and the fingering is extremely pianistic. I could not really wish for anything more!Only thing is... Dover claims the book's binding is "Lay flat." It may be, but it's not flat enough for me. The solution is simple: go to your nearest Staples and rebind the book with a spiral. Then you can really enjoy your Schumann without hassle!
