This is the only music out there for beginning flute/classical guitar duets. It has the advantage of popular pieces in easy arrangements that are attractive in their execution. It also has a large variety of pieces that could be used for different occasions: weddings, special church music, etc. It is probably too simple for the flutist but for the beginning classical guitarist, it is just the ticket. The only disadvantage is that many of the pieces are abbreviated for public performance.
Pretty simple, basic tunes. Definitely beginning, but can still be played quite well. The selection is quite good for what it is. check out the table of contents. My partner and I plan to use some of these tunes for a demo CD to take to possible gig sites. If you're advanced, it probably won't offer much. Otherwise, it's a good place to start.
The print needs to be darker and larger. Very hard to read from the kindle and laptop. I guess I need to buy the hard copy.
Got this as a project to do with my daughter -- guitar parts are well done, looking forward to incorporating the flute.
