Lovely anthology, I don't have anything to say negatively of. I love the translations in the beginning of the book, and everything seems to be the perfect size from the thickness (not too thick) and size of the page. Very essential for any singer or collaborative pianist.

This selection of Debussy's melodies is a must have! I have to say I find volume 1 perfectly suited for my lyric coloratura instrument - Volume 2 is for medium voices. The set includes his most well-known melodies, and if you think you know Debussy, think again. Having studied and performed several of these during college, the songs offer new delights over an extended period of time - these beautiful interludes are so cleverly written in his signature lush 19th century chromaticism. Oh, I think it's time I revisit Debussy myself!

I love this - all of Debussy's songs in one volume, with translations and editorial notes which help with proper interpretation.
