The original, unedited, unsimplified version of one of Debussy's most popular piano works. This ethereal, flowing section of "Suite Bergamasque" is diatonic and displays a conventional harmonic vocabulary in D-flat major. The title, "Clair de lune", suggests a relationship to Paul Verlaine's eponymous poem, describing a vision of long-dead dancers in the moonlight. The music transmits the otherworldly, transparent, and impalpable qualities of the experience while maintaining clarity and definition. Perfect for the burgeoning late intermediate pianist.

This is a truly beautiful piece of music. The notes are not difficult--they come quickly with a little practice--but it is the artistic interpretation that is demanding in this piece. The player finds himself hopelessly wrapped up in the music, unable to escape. It changes and grows a little every time it is played, even when the pianist thinks that it's been mastered. Claire de Lune is a great piece of music for anyone who has had at least a couple years of piano experience and wants to play something well-known and elegant.
I have been looking for this piece of music, and finally found it on , and it is even bound with a cover.It is a beautiful arrangement. I like to play piano occassionally, and I am very happy to have this piece.
Good print on quality paper but page turns don't always make sense. I have another print of this music with much better page turns.
I kind of thought it was the full piece and didn't realize it was only the first movement but it is still good. Clearly notated.
Caire de Lune is well edited, but fingering is not included. The notes are a good size and it is easy to read.
Printing quality is terrible. It's very fuzzy and mushy; note beams are mashed together so they all look like 1 beam instead of 3. Maybe it's just my copy, but I returned it.
Now all I have to do is learn how to play it!
