I bought this book on someone else's recommendation and I consider it a must-have for attorney's just starting out with trials. There is so much that doesn't get communicated between observing a trial and actually conducting one. The books fills in many of the gaps between watching and doing. I had been a trial attorney for more than a year when I bought this book and I immediately incorporated ways to improve and as a result, my success rate improved.
As preparation for a mock trial competition, this book was a valuable asset. I referred to it constantly. For the aspiring litigator or law student, this book is essential.
The book itself is great. But it should've come with a CD. I bought it used and there was no info saying the CD wasn't included...
