My son is in a Spanish immersion school so we bought this for his 1st grade classroom. Great illustrations and information. It's so important to spread education about Monarchs so that people do everything they can to help increase their population!
This is an excelent resource for unit studies of butterflies in content based or immersion Spanish classes. The illustrations are also great.
Highly recommend this excellent book on the life cycle of the butterfly. This book is presently being used by second graders while we are growing "la magn?fica monarca". The pictures during the life cycle are beautiful. There is also a chapter on "Monarcas en peligro". One section covers the growth and length of the caterpillar in very understandable language and drawings.
I bought this book to assist in my learning of Spanish. It covers everything you can think of about "Mariposas" in Spanish. I plan on purchasing more of the series because I like to learn things while I'm learning Spanish. Maybe I'm too efficient happy, but that's what I do. :)
