This music is definitely not for "late intermediate" piano players---it is closer to beginner and should be listed as such.
My friend and I played duets as teenagers and hadn't played since then. I wouldn't call this book intermediate; I'd say it's upper beginner, if there is such a thing! We used to be very, very good. We're in our mid 60s now, so it's been a while. We had so much fun with these songs though!! I do recommend this book, just wanted to say that it's not intermediate difficulty.
Nice arrangements, I played a Do-re-mi with one of my students, who's in 5th grade. We played just the first 2 pages. Most of the songs were too hard for recital for her, something she could grow into. The songs & arrangements are so beautiful that she would not choose another song. It's always encouraging that when you work hard on a piece, that the results are worth it.
