This is a handsome, durable edition, worth twice the price for any vocalist who treasures Messiah and plans to perform the piece in concert or join a holiday singalong.
This edition of the Messiah makes a wonderful addition to my personal library as well as the perfect gift to give to a music affectionato! I love the "interpretive" comments throughout the score. The hardcover insures a lifetime of quality performances on the professional stage as well as in community "Sing-a-long" settings.
This is an absolutely spectacular and gorgeous edition of Handel's famous oratorio. The binding is beautiful and the cover of the score is wonderful. The words and notation is clear, crisp, and easy to read. The score includes suggestions and cadenzas, and different versions of many pieces. I just performed the Messiah with my choir, and this is the score that my conductor used and recommends for the singers. The best out there!!!
Great Copy and a great edition. This will work well if you want to preform the arias or just sing in the chorus. It might be a little big, but the perfomers additions make it worth owning. I'll definitely be keeping it in my library.

Nice to find this in hardcover. Purchased this for my son for a birthday gift. Usually music scores are in paper back.
