I had to learn music from "The Sound of Music" in order to play it for an upcoming surprise birthday party for a friend's husband. I'm usually reluctant to purchase "E-Z Play" books because they usually "dumb down" the chord arrangements, but this book was written beautifully -- and it faithfully follows the intended style of presentation of the music, while still remaining simple and truly easy to play. When I played "The Sound of Music", only one of the beautiful songs contained therein, I was 'blown away' at how nice it sounded. I would glady recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this fantastic film!
