The pictures in the book are adorable, bright and vibrant. The scenes are happy and uplifting: the little girl visits her grandparents, camps, and takes ballet lessons.It would have been the perfect little reader had it not been evident that the little girl's parents are divorced. I wish I'd known that before I bought it: I was going to give this book as a gift but it's not appropriate for me to try to introduce someone else's child to that topic, so it wasn't the right book for me.
I think the book gives a good idea of what living apart is, but I dont know if the books gives a good idea of why mommy and daddy arent living together.
