The Arden Shakespeare Third Series is the ne plus ultra of annotated study editions of the Bard's individual plays. This edition of Macbeth lives up to the series' impeccable academic standards, but the Kindle edition does not include the illustrations contained in the print edition--a major letdown, since these typically include photos from historically significant as well as contemporary productions of the play. A deal breaker for me.
