This book has a nice selection of Mozart's piano pieces. I was especially glad that it included Sonata No. 15 K 545. The CD is so helpful to get the rhythm right and to know the correct speed. The book is an 'introduction' but I wouldn't call these pieces easy. I would say that an immediate player would enjoy them more than a beginner. A few might be at the advanced beginner level.
I didn't get a cd with this book even though it says so. I contacted and a replacement with CDwas shipped. Excellent book for a starting pianist with a challenge to play like it's played on CD.Also, never turned me down.
Alfred Masterwork Edition with Willard A.Palmer as editor proves an excellent learning resource for the piano student. Good training edition for beginning classical piano players, with a year or more experience. Music is graded by difficulty and audio CD allows comparison to professional players.
