This Bach fake book is EXACTLY what I was looking for!I've loved Bach since I first began learning these pieces on piano around age 10. Now some 45 years later I'm playing harp and want to make my own arrangements of these classic melodies, rather than just sight-reading and typing notes from someone else's interpretation.This book is perfect. The staff notation is easy to read (not too small, not annoyingly big) and the chords are accurate. Enough of each melody is included to make the piece sound complete and not stubby. Many of Bach's best known and loved themes, minuets and other pieces are included. There's plenty to keep me busy for a long time and develop a nice Bach repertoire.I am very happy with this purchase. My book arrived from promptly and in perfect condition.
This is a wonderful book for people who just want to try the melodies of wonderful Bach music. Some are quite difficult, but you can try the piece without having to read three staffs.
It`s ok I went ahead and ordered an easier book so that I can work my way up into learning how to play it this one. This book was way too advanced for me. I`m not able to take piano lessons . I learned accordion as a child and was able to pick up piano as an adult I do enjoy the classics. It`s alot of work it will take time but it will be worth it . the only thing is bach prelude in major c is not in the book . maybe I,ll try another bach simplified book in the future . thank you Wilfred dawi
