You really need to be a serious pianist to play along with this masterpiece. I studied passages of it years ago, so I can keep up with the slow version in fun, but the results are pretty laughable. The exquisite second movement is sheer beauty, and I had no trouble playing along with the recording. The Rondo is pretty difficult also. But the complete recording is wonderful to listen to anyway.

After right-hand surgery earlier this year, it was good to play this favorite of mine at home with excellent orchestral accompaniment. May I say, the end result was most encouraging - and did much to boost my morale as a concert pianist! Azim

Beethoven is a master of his craft. This music certainly is timeless. Too hard for me to actually play but lovely all the same!
