This book covers school law in a clear and concise manner. The language is easily understood and should be on the desk of every teacher who is concerned about the welfare of children.

I like this book very much because as the book says, it summarizes school law in a nutshell. I have found it very helpful to refer to while taking a school law class. It is any easy read compared to my school law text, and hits the main points of court decisions.

Book came on time with no issues. The cover was a lil beat up and there was more highlighting than I like to see but no big deal. However you couldn't beat the price of 71 cents so I can't complain! I was ready for class on time too, so thanks again!!!!

This is a very practicle text for a survey school law course at the university level. I used the text with Masters candidates and supplemented the text with on-line comprehensive land-mark case law reviews.I would use the text again.

Overall, a good summary of current education law. For law students/practitioners, I would recommend if you are new to the field. Just keep in mind that because education draws its power from state constitutions, your state's laws might differ from the overview provided in the source. In addition, this book markets new for about $31-$40.

This book has been a life saver as a resource book. I bought it for a course I had to take. The required book was by the same authors, only a lot more expensive since its hard cover, and more detailed. I got this book as an additional resource and have found it to be very helpful. It breaks down the 'legal' points into easy to understand (and remember) language. It still covers all the aspects of school law. It is easy to reference. The index and list of case studies that are referenced in the book is easy to follow. Basically, this has been a book that I could read and get the gist of the topic and an understanding of the legal cases that support the different laws. I can see myself keeping this book handy.

They've done it again! This is an excellent reference to use with a general survey school law course. It covers the high points in easy to understand language. The price is right too. I have used earlier editions for several years and I am very happy that an updated version is available. The earlier editions were very popular with my master's students and I expect this edition to be as well.

This nutshell has been very helpful for my education law class. It's a little out-of-date for more recent Supreme Court cases, but it does a good job of highlighting major cases in each area we've covered.
