If you love music, want to learn about it, but don't have a lot of time, this book is for you.
Several authors contributed to this educational yet accessible classical music lesson book. They make it fun and easy by just learning one important thing in classical music history a day. This way you don’t get over-whelmed because there is so much to know about the subject. It will teach you everything from the technical side of the music to the history of the composers and the most significant pieces composed. There are 365 lessons. One for each day of the year, although I haven’t done one every day. It doesn’t matter how long it takes you, in the end you’ve learned 365 things about classical music. The one I’m reading was published in 2010. I’m sure there are newer version out there by now. I would definitely recommend this book for a beginner just getting into classical music.
