This was a gift for my daughter who is expecting her first child but I own a copy myself. I had used it everyday in my Kindergarten classroom during our quiet "rest" time. The music is soothing and the songs are delightful. For me many were a tumble into my very distant past when many of these songs were hummed or sung to put me into a slumber state. Jose Luis Orozco has a wonderful full, soft and enjoyable voice. This CD is very easy listening, more swaying than toe tapping. I own many of his CDs and his others are more robust.
I must have six or seven of his cd's already, but when my new grandson was born, I thought he should be introduced to his music as soon as possible!! It's a beautiful cd, with lullabies that were sung to me as a child. Loved it!!
LOVE these little lullabies, I bought a book of Spanish lullabies but didn't know the melodies to go with them. This album has been wonderful for the baby to listen to & for me to learn the actual melody for the lullabies.
I want some good spanish songs for my grandchildren to listen to and I was not dissapointed. I will look for more cds by this artist.
I really enjoy this cd and my little one always calms down when he hears it :) We recommend it
