this book is so detailed with every event of the war given in details. the writer took her time to write the story in a way that you don't get to miss any part of the story . it was well written, easy to understand wit pictures for illustrations and very interesting . i found this book very helpful. high recommended for history students .

This book accounts the specific events as witnessed by the soldiers and how they have survived the tragic events. The book has greatly explained the difference between WWI and WWII, and the author has also included pictures that made me imagine the things that are written on the book. The author speaks to you in a conversational tone as to not bore you. I was happy that the author included useful images to accompany his explanations!
It's very interesting to know about our history especially bad things so we can improve our future based on the past.What do we really know about WWII? Well, to answer that question we must read, watch and we could also listen to other people’s story about it. It is always an interesting topic and this book gave a little enlightenment to my knowledge about it. It is a great book to read.
It is important for us to know about history because it molds on what our society has become. Know on how the people in that day live in fear. The brutality and cruelty is mind blowing. You will learn the history of it in a much more informative way. Its law and jurisdiction in that time. Surely it will going to chill your bones upon knowing what have happen during that time. The book is well articulated, with events unfolding in a fascinating manner and it captivated me to read up to the last full stop. Great book and great information. I just could not believe what I was reading. You end up reading the whole book and still you want more. An amazing book with great insights about the horror which took place . The author has done a great job in researching the book and pulling the facts together.
After reading this book, you will understand everything you need to know about World War II to pass any history test you will see in college or high school. It is packed with pictures from the war and covers all key events that makes it easy to jump back into history. I find it hard to just have a huge list of random dates from a historical period and try to remember everything. If you are interested in World War II, this book is for you.
