The book arrived on time.It is a very thin book, not a hardcover one.The story is in english and spanish and the translation makes sense.I got it because I wanted to read it to my kid before bed.I did not like it because the story was too short."The two little pigs were very scared. They ran to their oldest brother's stone house to hide"And the the last page says: "The clever wolf tried to go down the chimney. But fell into a kettle instead"The story does not follow the pattern that I knew, I was hopping the wolf would huffed and puffed to blow down the stone house too... but anyways, I'll make that up when reading it to my kid.I would not recommend to buy this book.
While this is a very thin book, but for our purposes (teaching Spanish to young children), it's a good fit. Each page has a sentence or two, as well as a full-page, colorful illustration, and the repetition makes it easier for Spanish language learners to follow the story.It does feel like it's missing a page; the wolf never even attempts to blow down the house of brick! But it wraps up the story line, even if a little abruptly. I wouldn't recommend it as a great adaptation of The Three Little Pigs, but if you're looking for an easy-to-follow Spanish/English bilingual version, it fits the bill just fine for the price.
This is a great book for a 3-year-old child. I'm raising my daughter to be bilingual and I read stories in Spanish every evening. This is one of my daughter’s favorite books. She loves this story and the large colorful images. I like the size of the book and the length of the copy per page -- great for a toddler!
POOR BOOK! the story is not complete! DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK! This is an incomplete book...they changed the story and chopped part of it. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK>>>>I waste my money!
It is a very simplified version of the story of the Three Little Pigs, but that is okay. I ordered it as Reyes gifts for my K-2nd grade Spanish classes and it doesn't need to be elaborate. I think they will just enjoy getting their first book in Spanish!
Great translations and easy to read. I got these for my 5 year old to help him practice his English and Spanish reading. The stories are easy and fun and the pictures are great.
Item worked great in my bilingual classroom. However, the paper copy is flimsy. I would recommend laminating it for long term use. Otherwise, can't beat the price!
It was a perfect gift for visitors from Honduras who brought their 4 year old.She loved the book very much.
