Excellent Purchase. Not your general information book. Wonderfully detailed pictures. Will answer the questions neededfor quality reproduction work. A must have for the Indian Wars period.
John Langellier is a quality researcher and this book shows it. You can depend on this book for accuracy and supported conclusions. Photographic quality, though, (and so typical of Schiffer books) is all over the board. That is too bad. It is a high quality product in a sub-quality package.

Best reference on the topic that I have seen. Lots of great color pictures. If you collect post Civil War US - buy this book.
