Excellent publication. Useful to both amateurs and professionals. Cortot gives many fingering options in table form, entirely apart from the score itself. Additionally, there is piece-by-piece instruction and useful exercises. Think of this book as a series of piano lessons from Cortot himself!
This is by far the best par none. The ergonomics of Cortot fingering recommendations are priceless and serve each pianist well regardless of level of expertise.

A real service to pianists keeping in print Cortot's directives with regard to the Etudes. The exercises really assist in the learning and execution of the pieces.
