This text contains various cases, examples, and other materials regarding the subject of Remedies. Most law students take remedies towards the end of their legal education so most of the material and rules are very familiar. Remedies is a blend of damages from contracts and torts. If you have taken contracts and torts before remedies, then you will most certainly have no problem understanding the material. This text is another great casebook and the publisher does a nice job of laying out the necessary and relevant material.

Laylock really knows his stuff. The cases are great, and the notes are extremely valuable. The issues are clearly delineated in an area that, in my opinion, is sometimes rather nuanced (such as what is the Plaintiff's Rightful Position in a dysfunctional marketplace).

There is a LOT of highlighting, underlining, and notes in the book. Definitely very distracting. I get that its a rental and people have used it over time, but someone should have been charged the full value for the book and kept it because the amount of notes is just insane. The person who had it before me thought EVERY single thing written down was important and required a highlight, underline, circle, or bold.

right book, not really a love hate thing.

One book title says "Concise" the other does not.......be careful, I received the wrong book, I needed the book that was the concise version.
