The illustrations are exceptional. And the book provides a wonderful opportunity to teach children that it's okay to imagine and see the world and the things in it different ways, to color outside the lines, to experiment with color in ways that make you happy, and to simply have fun.
This book is simple and beautiful and perfect for our bilingual toddler who is just learning animals and colors in both languages. Now, if I could only pronounce 'anaranjado' like my Chilean husband when reading it, we'd be perfect :)
I love Eric Carle books and I am always happy to find Spanish versions of the books to help my 2 year old grandson build his Spanish vocabulary. The colorful pictures are interesting to look at too.
Not a very interesting book but it does teach some names of colors and animals so it is serving its purpose to reinforce Spanish with our daughter.
Le compre este libro a mi esposa pues ella da clase de español a los Pre-K y es muy bueno para la enseñanza.
