This edition contains the following improvements over the first edition: More detailed coverage of legal issues than previous book Better problems reworked from the last edition Overviews added at the beginning of each chapter Cumulative problems at the end of each chapter The book is still divided into two major sections. The early chapters give students a firm grounding in equity and equitable remedies, contempt, and the prerogative writs. The problems are constructed to cross subject matter boundaries, analyze competing remedial options, and give students a better understanding of the remedial consequences of litigating a case on one theory rather than another.

The quality of this book was listed as good with minimal highlighting and writing however there was significantly use, highlighting and markings in the book than the description led me to believe. This was the first time I have bought a book from where I found the description and quality to be so disparate.
This book is minimally helpful so you had better hope your professor supplements the shortcomings. The placement of sections and headings is weird and doesn't seem to flow. When there aren't general intro sections to material the cases don't seem to make up for providing a foundation and are ineffective at illustrating the concepts. The notes following the cases don't seem to naturally flow from the reading. I attempted to supplement with an E&E but it didn't compliment my professor's lectures or the text.
