I'm not completely sure if this falls under the category of romantic suspense, but I can see where it would.Dylan Donovan was assigned to protect Serafina, the daughter of a U.S. Senator, planning to run for President. Serafina and her brother had been kidnapped before in relation to a bill their mother had been trying to get passed.Dylan and Serafina had an extremely strong attraction they both tried to ignore, along with a very contentious relationship that eventually worked out to be something stronger.I liked the way Dylan and Sera were able to let go with each other. This was not 'instalove'. It took them time to build trust. Both had past and present issues they were trying to handle, not to mention Sera's stalker.I liked her friend Taj, and eventually grew to like her coworker, Jason. Donovans and friends from previous books also made brief appearances. When I think about it, there was a lot going on in this book, but it was so well done, you really don't realize it.All I can say is that once I started to read it, I just kept reading until I finished the book. I think this is my favorite Donovan book so far.I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I received this as an ARC in return for an honest review. I must say this book was on and popping from the start. Dylan and Serafina were attracted to each other from the first meeting at the bar. Dylan mentally claimed Serafina from the first kiss in the bar and the first meeting with Jason staking out his possessive claim. Dylan is an alpha male with a complex abandonment issue by his mother that adds so much more to his personality. Dylan wants to get back to New York to return to a previous relationship to fix his nightmares but he doesn't realize Sera is the perfect antidote. The story switches between both characters perspective and is very inciteful to help move the story along. Taj is the perfect ride or die girlfriend to Serafina while Ava always jealous was the stab you in the back girlfriend. There is enough suspense in the story from the stalking of Serafina by Tommy Cochran to keep you riveted. I enjoyed this book and how Dylan's siblings were included to give different facets to his personality and how Serafina's relationship with her deceased brother shaped her and the dynamics in her family. It's a fully developed read that will keep you turning the pages until the end. Dylan and Serafina's HEA is well deserved and emotionally fulfilling for the reader. Nana Malone has done it again!

Luckily, her people had intercepted the letter, but until she announced her bid and could be under the protection of the Secret Service, she needed someone she could trust to monitor her and keep things quiet. So now he was here in San Diego for six weeks to “babysit” and bring the Senator’s fragile daughter to DC in time for the announcement.What he didn’t expect to find was a sexy, mature, beautiful woman that intrigued and excited him…in more ways than one.I really enjoyed Love in Plain Sight by Nana Malone. The chemistry between Dylan and Serafina was palpable. We’re talking sheet-gripping, face-fanning, off-the-charts sexual chemistry. On top of that, add in an ex that won’t go away, deception, revenge, danger, lies, truths, compassion, forgiveness, family, seduction, lust, love, and let’s not forget panty-wetting sex! Great job Nana Malone!
During the school year I don't find much time to read. I found the time for this one! I read this is 2 or 3 evenings. I love the Donovans and their significant others! Keep it up Nana! I purchased this one even though I am on her ARC list. Support all the way!
I received this as ARC for my honest review. I loved reading Donavan and Sera's story. I loved this book it offers romance, laughter and drama. This is a well written book and I am loving this series. Job well done by Nana Malone. It was great to catch up with Derek and Kisima, Donavan and Sera made a very cute and hilarious couple that will have the reader laughing out loud.
Love, love, LOVE the new Donovans story!!!! The whole series is sooo worth the read!!! Once again, Nana hits one out of the park!!! If you are looking for an awesome love story that is "real" and not "extremely unlikely" to happen in real life, then this book is it!!!
