I have a friend whose daughter has used this series of books (Level 1 - 4 so far) in association with her piano lessons. She has made good progress. Sometimes the books are purchased on and sometimes from other sources.

Great series for my daughter, selected by her piano teacher. The theory books are great reinforcement for the concepts introduced in the lesson books. FYI, I was unsure what edition we would receive from because although the description says this is the second edition, the book cover shown on the listing does not say "2nd edition." I did purchase directly from and we received the 2nd edition, which was what we needed.

1st bad review on ever. This book isn't the 2nd edition (most recent) as it said it was. I bought it in a group of three books (lesson, performance and theory books) from the same seller. 2 of them were 2nd edition, this one wasn't, so they can't be used together! Piano teacher didn't tell us until it was too late to return.

I used this series of books when I was taking piano more than 30 years ago. Today my daughter uses the same series. It is still a great series of fundamental piano books for the young student.

We love this series of books. My mother is a former piano teacher and has stated how well she likes this teaching method.

The Piano Adventures books are great! We have been using them for both our children for a few years and they have really grown with their music.
