This is a short, easy read that tells about one battle where a few Americans man up and protect themselves and their teammates. Captivating story of Prosser fighting the terrorist, even in hand to hand combat, and coming out on top. Few in our country have a clue what our men go thru. Thank you Michael Yon for documenting.
It would be nice if the liberal media could report truth and not slanted views like this guy does! Go Michael, I own two of your books.
While Gate can perhaps find a 2nd career in screen play writing - his descriptions, though occasionally graphic - are very detailed, it's almost as if he is describing every scene and every incident for a sketch artist.Unfortunately, by focusing on describing the visual details of the scenery, he does not capture the spirit or the emotions of what he saw, the unsaid story, what's going inside the mind of the people involved, or his own feelings as he witnesses violence, injuries and even death.that combined with the fact that book does not enough photos for what's listed as photojournalism makes me give it three stars.
