The author is good at using tables to show data and draw his conclusion from them. There are over a dozen tables and figures in this book.I like this kind of clear and responsible style. She lists some helpful books in this field and sample Internet Resources for Career Counseling. Moreover, she gives a Job Analysis sample and over six Career Counseling Models--the author explains them in detail. I don't think this book is boring. Sometimes readers need to think it is a lot of responsibility since Career Counseling can change a client's life. Therefore, with over 435 pages' reading and analysis, they would have more confidence to face a client with disability in this recession.Nothing is easy, especially try to help people with disabilities. This book is a wonderful textbook since it comes with figures, tables, datas and analysis. I highly recommend it.
Had this book as course text at University of Kentucky. It is a good text and it covers the topics in a clear concise manner. It is not entertaining, but it does what it is supposed to do as a text book.
This is one of the driest books you will ever read. It does have a lot of important information. If you can get to it! I had to read it for a class, slowly I got through the book. It's a good book to read if you can't sleep!
Book was a little more damaged than I expected. It had bends throughout the book.
