I was excited to find piano arrangemens of my favorite disney songs but what the arranger did was that he incorporated famous classical pieces into the arangements almost to where its like a mash-up. Because of this I wasn't really able to get into the songs cause i thought it was weird playing Can You Feel the Love Tonight and then hearing Mcdowell's To A Wild Rose in the same song.

A good selection of famous Disney songs newer and classic movies. The music isn't for beginners, and intermediate pianists would struggle with several arrangements, but if you can play Debussy's Reverie, this book is great. Some arrangements are like mashups of specific classical pieces with Disney songs, others are just in the style of a composer. As a classically trained pianist I'm always looking for enjoyable piano solo arrangements of popular music and this collection is great. Knowing the composer/classical piece paired with each Disney song makes it better to see how he melded them together.

These arrangements vary from the very challenging to the fairly easy (for the moderately skilled). I love the harmonies. These pieces are really fun to play. These arrangements are unique, because he weaves hints of classical pieces into these Disney favorites.

This book is intended for players of an intermediate level. As a more advanced pianist, I was looking for a book of Disney songs that I could pick up & learn quickly--it serves this purpose well. However, I am unimpressed with the arrangements of many of the pieces, including the two I was most looking forward to playing: "Colors of the Wind" and "Beauty and the Beast". I do like the arrangements of a few of the other pieces ("The Second Star to the Right" is one example). Ultimately, though, there are definitely other, better compilations of Disney songs for piano. I recommend that you purchase one of those instead.

These songs are beautifully arranged and not too difficult to play. I would think that anyone who love to play the piano and loves Disney music will love playing them.

this book of arrangements is very nice. i love disney music and i'm always on the look out for new piano arrangements. this book is great.

I guess it's my fault for not reading properly, but I thought I was buying a book of classical Disney songs, not a book of Disney songs in a classical style. I'm not crazy about it. I give it three stars because, even though I didn't realize what I was ordering, the arrangements really aren't that great. The classical songs that the versions are based on don't really work with the Disney songs.

I bought this for my Boyfriends youngest brother for Christmas and he loved it. Its not too easy but not too hard either.
