It is probably the best technical dictionary I've encountered. It has actual terms used by different trades and in different countries. It is not a collection of just words and terms translated literally into another language. I had been looking for this dictionary for a very long time. New technology and science also implies new terminology, so I can't wait for the new editions to come.
I have purchased many of these dictionaries, in both the old hardback version, and this current paperback version. I have used it all over the world while doing translation and interpretation of very technical engineering and construction terminology. It is absolutely amazing and essential! There are many thousands of very technical terms that you will NEVER find in a standard English/Spanish dictionary, or even on internet translating tools. This book has translations for every construction tool and material you can think of, advanced mathematical terms, and every single engineering concept and jargon you can possibly imagine. This is essential for anyone doing technical translation in any of these fields. Amazing!
This dictionary is a wonderful reference book. It has Spanish to English as well as English to Spanish translations of technical words not found in more general dictionaries.
Just a bit expensive but worth it. No regrets. Already recommended to others.
